What is it and WHY  is it important?

Armor, Crest and Seals represent the "Clan" values, ideals, and attitudes for longevity and strength as a form of protection out on the battle-field of life--
Similarly, the function of our personal Attitude Armor. Armor is the shield that protects us from the metaphorical onslaught of arrows , bombs, gunfire known as stress. Our personal Armor represents our own personal protective coating that shields us from the daily muck we wade through and the stuff that gets thrown at us. However, like any protective shield Attitude Armor needs regular maintenance, repair, refinement, replacement parts, and sometimes a complete overhaul to continue optimal performance.

Let's think about our devices for a moment: smart phones, computers and the cars we drive --do they not get recharged, frequent upgrades, refueled, and tuned up in order to perform optimally? We have no problem inconveniencing ourselves to make sure that our devices get what they need to keep up with demanding, high speed performance.


Stress is a leading cause of breakdown in our mental and physical well being. Chronic Stress inhibits the ability to "think strategically" due to the innate response of constant fight/flight response. Over time the feeling of fatigue, lack of creativity, and motivation erodes confidence and purpose. Even coordination can become sloppy resulting in injury, falls and accidents.

What would it feel like to be agile in maintaining a strong, healthy and vibrant Attitude Armor without succumbing to the onslaught of stress, fatigue and clumsiness? How would you function and behave differently to the stresses that show up daily? What would you do with extra strength, confidence, and endurance ?

Speak Kindly and Compassionately to your Body

As an Occupational Therapist and Attitude Architect Polly has observed how  the habitual tendency to speak harshly  about our  body during health and wellness challenges, episodes of great setbacks,  and mental duress of Stress.  It often sounds like this:  post surgery: “Up with the good leg and down with the bad leg”;   “I could:  if only my bad back…”  .  Polly brings awareness to how burtle we are with our words when describing our bodies and how destructive it is for healing, recovery, and attaining the health and wellness goals we set for ourselves.  She created the program “Love Your Body Challenge” with great success.   She uses these hacks with her patients recovering from surgery, and critical health issues to find courage, acceptance, and greater peace during physical struggles.
